The ministry participated in several diversified cultural activities and events as part of its efforts to enhance the presence of Saudi culture in international events, the Saudi press agency (spa) reported.
It patronized the fourth round of the second-day races of the Equestrian Club, where “Aan Al-Awan” (It is time) horse, owned by sons of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz won the race and was awarded the 2020 Saudi Coffee Year logo.
The ministry, through the Ibbiyah pavilion, offered several cultural events, such as a musical show of musicians playing the oud, flute, violin, and qanun, in addition to providing a shop offering and explaining various Saudi coffee types with various ways of preparing, where the ministry also provided the ship with cultural books.
The cultural events in the Saudi Cup also included a corner for fashion by the Fashion Commission’s initiative “100 Saudi Brands”, which displayed 23 traditional outfits with a modern touch as Saudi works.
The ministry concluded its efforts by organizing a gala dinner under the stars, where it offered guests of the Saudi Cup local dishes that were made exclusively for this global event, in addition to organizing an auction whose profits will be donated to a charity association.
